Mental Health Mukbang (Session 3):
“Building Stress Resilience in a Rice Pressure Cooker"
Virtual session on September 23, 2020 at 6:30 PM Pacific
Emotional, social, and psychological sustainability is vital now, more than ever in a shifted workplace culture. Remote working amidst a health pandemic and social unrest has found employees working longer hours; causing a strain on work-life balance. That’s according to findings by Jeanie Y. Chang, LMFT, CMHIMP, CCTP, corporate wellness speaker and clinician. Join Jeanie as she shares about how to build stress resilience in preventing burnout in a growing pressure cooker environment. Learn to acknowledge anxiety mindfully to gain insight on managing distress. Be solution-focused to de-stress for sustainable wellness through applicable skills and techniques. Stress resilience is about being proactive, not reactive in those trying times.
The session will be an interactive 'mukbang' event. Eating your dinner is welcome and encouraged during the Mental Health Mukbang. Mukbang mixes muk-ja for “eating” and bang-song for “broadcast.” So, mukbang means “eating broadcast" usually defined as a live-streamed eating show where the host eats with the audience. We encourage attendees to support a small business if possible.
